Helkint

A mischievous young elf, Helkint joined the Rebel Army 15 years ago at the age of 90. He was born to a family of traveling entertainers that roamed the eastern part of Elothnin, earning a living off their performances of popular skits and short plays for the townsfolk of the countryside. The independent-minded young Helkint developed a deep resentment towards humans, in response to their treatment of elves as second-class citizens, which led him to want to join with the Rebel Forces. His parents opposed his desire to take action, considering his impetuosity a serious danger to his continued existence. Nevertheless, Helkint opted to leave his family and ventured across Elothnin alone, until he met up with another elf, named Tlin, who helped him find the army and join up with Jellihondor's battalion.

Tlin and Helkint remained thick as thieves for some time, which often meant that Tlin was forced to participate in Helkint's undying thirst. Helkint has never forgiven himself for this, believing that had he not pushed his good friend to traverse the Dark Lands with him, Tlin would not have fallen in the battle against the strange apes in the desert.

Now scarred from the battle emotionally and physically, Helkint has become a quieter young elf with a haunted look about him.
