Rethnaki

Rethnaki is in many ways emblematic of the Rebel Army: he is a young, willful red elf full of idealism and a fierce devotion to the rebels' cause. Like many of his fellow soldiers, he has spent virtually his entire adult life in the army and knows little of life beyond it. He quickly ascended through the ranks to become one of Jellihondor's most trusted and relied-on captains, eventually taking Jellihondor's place as commander when the old Rebel hero himself stepped down.

Though he has close relationships with a number of other rebels (most notably Sellior, Jarthen, and Adahna), Rethnaki left behind those he loves most when he joined the fight, and remains torn between his commitment to the cause and his desire to be reunited with his wife and twin brother.
