Glothnafar, a chestnut-haunched centaur, with a grim, stern bearing, is one of the most respected members of the rebel army. In addition to a litany of brave acts to his name, he has proved himself a brilliant tactician and military leader, providing the rebel army with some much needed success. Glothnafar harbors a deep distrust verging on hatred towards humans, a lesson that Jarthen will have to learn the hard way.

Glothnafar is part of Jellihondor's north-bound battalion, which split off from the main body of the Rebel Army when the latter began its southern descent. Recent events have revealed such intriguing insights into Glothnafar - such as clairvoyant abilities which have made him famous in magickal communities, but which was largely unknown to his military companions. This status allowed him to serve as the mundayne/rebel-aligned judge during Jellihondor's duel with Svava Taggar.
