Nagoa is an intriguing individual who is many different things to many different people. Among the Northern Bandits, he is an esteemed leader and a respected point of contact between their culture and others. The Inala, known for their suspicions of outsiders and mistrust of strange looking races like elves and felintarks, rely on him to interact with and bring news from those groups that they tend to avoid.
Few outsiders know of Nagoa's standing in his own community. Often, he is contracted to guide caravens and travelers through the Dark Lands, and the people he guides tend to assume that he an unassuming rank and file bandit. Nagoa is an extremely proud man, coming from a high station, and sometimes finds that his bearing and cofidence are misinterpreted by those who are not versed in Inalan culture.
