Clemhand is a respected spy in the Imperial Army. He is by nature a reclusive, secretive type, and not much is known about him except that he has a deep distrust of magic, and that he joined the army at a fairly young age and was almost immediately placed in the spy corps. Despite his reticent nature, Clemhand can be very friendly and charming at times, and is always in possession of a wry and sardonic sense of humor.
As he is not as young as he once was, Clemhand is now in semi-retirement. He no longer goes on active intelligence missions, but stays with the army recruiting and training a younger generation of spies, such as Bertronius, Nelhoepher and Lem.
